Your wedding day is no time to settle. If you just can’t seem to find your dream dress anywhere, let us create it for you! The whole process is a win-win. You get your one-of-a-kind dress designed and made for you! No need to make separate alterations appointments and no need to give up any part of your vision.
The process can take anywhere from ten weeks to six months depending on your timeline.
Step 1: Measurements
We fill out a list of your measurements - these measurements are used to draft a paper pattern, which is then used to build the muslin sloper for your first garment fitting.
Step 2: Design and Fabric Choice
The fun begins! We create and finalize your design and choose fabric to create your one-of-a-kind gown.
Step 3: Muslin
A sloper is a basic garment made to your measurements that allows us to create a perfectly fitted template for your body. Your first fitting is to perfect the fit of your personal sloper. Those changes are taken back to a paper pattern and used to create a mock-up of your final garment out of muslin.
Step 4: Fittings
Once your garment is built in the final fabric, we do a series of fittings to make any tweaks and ensure the fit is perfect.
