I am originally from the alligator infested swampland of Micanopy, Florida. My husband and I escaped the oppressive heat and humidity in 2014 to come to Nashville. I had an interest in clothing from a very early age and began learning how to sew at the age of five. After many years of torturing my sister with straight pins and wildly stylish outfits made from fabric scraps out of my mother’s quilting basket, I decided to pursue this as a career. I studied costume design at the University of South Florida. After graduation, I designed two gowns for the Tampa Museum of Art CITY: Fashion+Art+Culture Gala. I have since been designing and building custom clothing, formalwear, and wedding gowns. I am a one-woman operation and hand make every single garment.
